Raj Rajan will explore the geography and postal history of Perim Island, a small but strategically located island at the entrance to the Red Sea. He will show us how the island connected networks of communication and commerce that passed through the region.
Raj Rajan is an accomplished philatelist, award winning exhibitor and member of the ATA Board of Directors. His collecting and exhibiting interests include Mahatma Gandhi, Indian history, the East India Companies, and the fascinating postal connections between India and the wider world.
