Learn how to:

  • Recognize face-different designs
  • Sort by perforation, printing method, and watermark
  • Differentiate 2c and 3c design types
  • Determine Scott Catalog numbers for all major series varieties
Guy Gasser – Instructor

A West Point graduate and career Army man, Guy Gasser retired after 30 years of service for his country. He has been collecting stamps on and off for nearly 40 years and enjoys helping others learn about and enjoy philately. Guy has been a member of the APS since 2006 and also holds memberships in the ASDA, NSAD, MSDA, the U.S. Philatelic Classics Society, the U.S. Stamp Society, the Collector’s Club of New York, and two St. Louis area stamp clubs.
