What is the difference between my Account and my Profile?


How to RESET your password

  1. Open the Greater Mound City Stamp Club website
  2. Scroll down to and click on the “I FORGET MY PASSWORD” icon
    or directly using this URL
    https://greatermoundcity.org/password-reset/
  3. Enter your email address and click on “Reset my password”
  4. Open the email you are sent and follow the instructions.

How to CHANGE your password

  1. Login to the Greater Mound City Stamp Club website
  2. Click on ACCOUNT
  3. Click on the asterisk icon or directly using this URL
    https://greatermoundcity.org/account/password/
  4. Enter your current password
  5. Enter your new password
  6. Enter your new password again to confirm
  7. Select UPDATE

Update my Profile?

  1. Login to the Greater Mound City Stamp Club website
  2. Hover over the Account menu and click on Profile
  3. Locate the gear icon and click, then click on “Edit Profile” (note the gear icon changes to a check mark icon while in edit mode)
  4. Fill in as much of the information* you can as completely as you can
  5. Add a cover photo as well as a personal photo of yourself
  6. Once everything is complete either click the check mark icon or the Update Profile button at the bottom

Search the Member Directory?

  1. Login to the Greater Mound City Stamp Club website
  2. Scroll down to the Member Search widget on the left side of the screen
    or directly using this URL https://greatermoundcity.org/members/
  3. Type in what you are looking for into the Search field, e.g; Roses, German, Verna Mann, Covers, Exhibitor, Cupcakes, Accordion, etc.
  4. It might take a little bit but you will get back a screen of the Club Members that share that interest.
  5. To contact a member click on the DOWN ARROW at the bottom of that members collapsed profile.
  6. Then click on the email address shown and it will open your default email tool to send the member an email where you can begin corresponding.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:  In order for this to work well everyone needs to update and maintain there member profile.

Report a Bug or submit an Enhancement?

  1. Login to the Greater Mound City Stamp Club website
  2. Hover over the Account menu and click on Report Bug or Enhancement
  3. Enter your Name, email address and Subject in the associated data fields.
  4. Select Bug Report, Enhancement or Other from the drop down list in the What are you reporting field.
  5. Type in a message stating the bug you found or the enhancement you would like to see in the message area.
  6. If you have a file to attach then click the BROWSE button to add your file. If not, skip to next step.
  7. Hit SEND

Once you have hit send the webmaster will be notified and will look into your submission and will get back you as soon as possible.

Search the Club’s Library?

  1. Login to the Greater Mound City Stamp Club website
  2. Hover over the Resources menu then the Member Only Resources menu then click on Library or directly using this URL https://greatermoundcity.org/our-library/
  3. Option 1: Scroll down the screen and select a list of books by category; e.g.; Airmail, First Day Covers, New Zealand, Revenues, etc.
    or
  4. Option 2: In the Search field enter any keyword you would like, e.g.; almanac, errors, perfins, etc. and press Enter
  5. If any books meet your search criteria the books we have will be listed.
  6. To review the book (we have very little info on them beyond the title) you can click on the title.
  7. If you decide to check it out click on ADD TO CART
  8. Then Click on Proceed to checkout – This will notify the Librarian that you would like the book so that you can arrange a time to get the book from the Librarian.

Once you have hit send the webmaster will be notified and will look into your submission and will get back you as soon as possible.

What is the difference between my Account and my Profile?

ACCOUNT: Your user id, password and the data elements that allow you to access the content of the website as a club member.
PROFILE: Your information that we share with each other about our philatelic interest and about ourselves in the club’s member directory.
