Reading Documents

Got old eyes?  Open up a page like the Treasurer’s report and say, “That’s too small!”  Fear not!

There are generally two methods used on the GMCSC Website to display documents. The primary method is a simple document viewer, and the other is a flipbook.  Please take the time to learn these, and you will enjoy using the website more without struggling to read the documents and articles.

Using the Document Viewer:
Example: Treasurer’s Report – Locate this icon and click it to make the document fill the width of your screen (doesn’t apply to cell phones).  If that is still too small, click the “+” sign next to it until you can read the document.  Other features include: search (magnifying glass), print (printer), and save (floppy disk).  Note: You can click any icon on the toolbar. Since you can’t change the site, you cannot harm anything, so don’t worry.

Using the Flipbook Viewer:
Example: Perf-Dispatch – First try clicking the “+”; if that is too small, locate this icon  and click it to make the document fill your screen.  If you use the full-screen mode, you can still use the “+” and use your mouse to navigate the document.  To return or exit the full-screen mode, press the “Esc” key on your keyboard.  Note: You can click any icon on the toolbar. Since you can’t change the site, you cannot harm anything, so don’t worry.
